Terms of Service

Terms for using CAD Scene and its AI rendering tools.

Last updated: August 11, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of CAD Scene at cadscene.com and its related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 and legally able to enter this agreement. If you have not reached the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must agree on your behalf.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and must tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access. You may not share an account in a way that bypasses plan limits or impersonate another person.

3. The Service and AI outputs

CAD Scene is an AI architectural rendering web app. The Service can create, enhance, and edit images from prompts, scene images, marked regions, project settings, and other references you provide. A generated image is an "Output."

AI systems are probabilistic. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, similar to other outputs, or unsuitable for your intended use. They may not preserve geometry, dimensions, materials, text, boundaries, or design intent exactly. Review each Output before using it for client work, construction, procurement, regulatory submissions, or other professional decisions.

4. Your content and responsibilities

"User Content" means prompts, uploads, source and reference images, masks, region selections, project settings, and other material you submit, plus Outputs stored in your account. You keep any rights you have in User Content. You give us a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, transmit, process, modify, and display User Content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and support the Service. This includes sending relevant content to service providers that process it for requested features.

You must have all rights and permissions needed to submit User Content and use the resulting Outputs. This responsibility includes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, and confidentiality obligations. Do not upload client, competition, workplace, or other confidential material unless you are authorized to process it through the Service and its providers.

5. Subscriptions, payments, and credits

Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Stripe processes subscriptions and top-up purchases. Prices, taxes, plan allowances, and payment terms are shown at checkout. You authorize the recurring charges displayed when you subscribe. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the Stripe billing portal linked from your account.

The Service uses credits. The credit cost of a render or other paid action is displayed before you submit it. Costs vary by model, resolution, quality, image count, and feature, and may change as the Service changes.

  • Signup credits do not expire.
  • Monthly subscription credits and purchased top-up credits carry forward while your subscription remains active.
  • Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period. At that time, the entire remaining credit balance is set to zero, including signup, monthly, and top-up credits.
  • A grant issued with an explicit expiry date expires on that stated date.
  • Credits for a failed render or other paid generation are restored only when the Service records a qualifying failure or cancellation. Closing a page, losing a connection, disliking an Output, or abandoning completed work does not by itself qualify.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • break the law or violate another person's rights;
  • submit material you do not have permission to use, including confidential or personal data;
  • create deceptive, abusive, exploitative, or harmful content, or content involving child sexual abuse;
  • distribute malware, probe security, bypass access or credit controls, scrape the Service, or disrupt its operation;
  • reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
  • resell access, automate abusive volumes, or use the Service to build a competing service without our written permission.

We may investigate suspected misuse and remove content or limit access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, providers, or third parties.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties for hosting, authentication, storage, payments, AI processing, analytics, advertising measurement, and error monitoring. Their services and any third-party links are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

8. Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, models, limits, credit costs, or integrations. We may also correct pricing or technical errors. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability. Maintenance, provider outages, capacity, safety concerns, and events outside our control may affect the Service.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. Subscription cancellation follows Section 5. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create legal or security risk, fail to pay amounts due, or use the Service in a way that could harm others or the Service. Where practical, we will give notice and a chance to resolve the issue.

Terms that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect, including provisions about ownership, payment, disclaimers, liability, and indemnity.

10. Intellectual property

CAD Scene and its licensors own the Service, including its software, interface, branding, documentation, and service-created materials. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you.

Rights in AI-generated material can vary by jurisdiction and circumstance. An Output may not qualify for intellectual property protection, may not be unique, and may resemble existing work. You are responsible for determining whether and how you may use an Output under applicable law and third-party terms. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service and Outputs are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, CAD Scene and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, opportunities, goodwill, or data, arising from the Service or Outputs. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Indemnity and general terms

To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify CAD Scene against third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from your User Content, your use of Outputs, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

If any provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only as needed, and the rest will remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and incorporated policies are the entire agreement about the Service. Applicable law governs these Terms, without selecting a jurisdiction that does not otherwise apply.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service or applicable requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when appropriate. Using the Service after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.

14. Privacy and contact

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Questions about these Terms or the Service can be sent to [email protected].
