Browser workbench or direct model connection

Choose CAD Scene when

Architects who want one browser workspace across screenshots, models, studies, and precise region edits.

Choose Chaos Veras when

Architects who want camera-aware rendering inside CAD, BIM, Enscape, V-Ray, or Corona.

Where CAD Scene fits

CAD Scene keeps the rendering process in one browser workspace. A screenshot from any 3D tool is enough to begin.

Create, Enhance, and Edit share project context. Named regions make local changes explicit and reviewable.

Choose CAD Scene when your studio uses several modeling tools. It avoids plugin deployment and host-version checks.

One-click image operations replay common refinements from the finished Render and its stored context.

  • One project holds studies, source images, settings, presets, and render history.
  • Each render can use a different available image model.
  • Free Lanczos 4K upscale and durable server-side render jobs are included.

Where Chaos Veras fits

Veras by Chaos has the stronger direct connection to model context. Its plugins read active-view geometry, camera, and materials.

Smart Selection can use host object and material IDs. That makes a façade or finish easier to isolate without painting a mask.

Typed references clarify how each image should influence a result. Design Lock carries detailing language across views.

Veras also covers image-to-video, video combining, and shareable galleries. Those are material advantages for presentations.

  • Direct workflows for major CAD, BIM, and Chaos rendering tools.
  • Model-aware selections and camera-synced viewport capture.
  • Built-in video generation and presentation sharing.

Chaos Veras pricing

As reviewed on July 23, 2026, the UK page lists Starter at £168 yearly, or £14 monthly effective, before tax. It includes 500 monthly credits.

Chaos localizes prices by region and currency. Confirm the annual checkout total for the purchasing entity.

The 14-day trial starts paid annual billing automatically. Cancel at least one day before it ends to avoid conversion.

Chaos also bundles Veras access with parts of its renderer lineup. Check the current license route before buying standalone.

Test the model connection, not just the first image

Use one approved camera and one difficult material junction. Generate three variations in each tool.

In Veras, test a host-integrated view and a Smart Selection edit. Then test Design Lock on a second camera.

In CAD Scene, test Enhance, a named-region Edit, and a model change. Close the tab during one render.

Compare openings, edge alignment, repeated elements, and material boundaries. Treat vendor speed and fidelity statements as claims, not acceptance criteria.
