Style

A contemporary organic language that softens minimalism through weight, tactility, and continuous profiles. Existing planes read as hand-finished rather than mechanically perfect, while rounded furniture and softly sculpted applied edges ease the geometry without altering it. The palette stays within chalk, sand, umber, and muted clay. Decoration is sparse. Character comes from proportion, grain, and touch, producing a settled environment that feels refined, domestic, and quietly connected to natural materials.

Scene

The space opens onto dry grasses, a sheltered garden, or a softly planted urban terrace. Beyond the glazing, low stone walls, broad-leaved shrubs, and pale gravel extend the earth palette into the surroundings. Planting is loose but controlled, with no sharp color contrasts. Thresholds feel calm and continuous through related stone tones and restrained vegetation. The wider setting remains quiet, allowing warm surfaces, rounded furnishings, and natural texture to define the atmosphere.

Lighting & Atmosphere

Soft warm daylight moves evenly across plaster and stone, gathering gently around rounded surfaces and deep fabric textures. Shadows remain broad and feathered, without hard edges or strong glare. Warmth comes from daylight rather than amber artificial color. Small concealed lamps may reinforce sheltered areas with a low, diffuse glow. Materials & Textures

Hand-applied lime plaster provides soft tonal variation across existing surfaces, joined by honed limestone, travertine, or warm sandstone at floors and fitted elements. Dark oak adds measured contrast through cabinetry, tables, and slender screens. Seating uses cream boucle, brushed wool, and undyed linen over rounded forms. Ceramic vessels and solid stone side tables carry subtle irregularities. Finishes remain matte, porous, and low-sheen, with no polished chrome or sharp synthetic gloss.

Entourage & Activity

Low rounded seating, a dark-oak table, and a restrained arrangement of ceramics establish quiet occupation. A folded wool throw, an open book, and a shallow bowl of branches suggest daily use without staging excess. One or two figures may sit in conversation or move slowly through the space.
